29 MAY 2014
Chamber of Commerce
The Everyman Theatre Liverpool
I was fortunate enough to be commisioned to shoot inside the Everyman Theatre in Liverpool,
The shoot involved photographing THE PHILANTHROPY FELLOWSHIP EVENT, 29 MAY 2014 and a talk by the Duke of Westminster.
http://www.professionaliverpool.com/index.php/2014/05/the-philanthropy-fellowship-event-29-may-2014/
The clients (Professional Liverpool) wanted the event to be photographed as candid and some staged photography.
Equipment: canon 500d, speedlight, 70-200mm lens.
The images were to be uploaded to dropbox the same day ready to be used for press release the next morning.
Shooting the event was simple as this involved mainly cataloging the event as it happened. As i was the only photographer there, it was essential to capture as much as possible so the client had a diverse range of shots to choose fom for the press release and future promotional material.
The event lasted approximately 5 hours with various dignitary's speaking at the event.
After leaving the event I edited the images that night and uploaded them to Dropbox for the client to download.

Wedding 3
Immi and Lindsay
This was my first solo wedding I had been approached to cover and after a couple of visits to Bradford to speak to the client we agreed a fee and understood what was required.
I was to arrive for the bride getting ready and cover the whole day right upto the first dance.
I was excited and apprehensive as I had never covered a wedding on my own before.
The day went without any problems and i got a chance to try out my new camera equipment.
Imran and Lyndsay were really pleased with the final images and asked me to organise prints and an album once they had chosen their selection. I got a geat deal of satisfaction out of this shoot, i proved to myself I was capable of photographing a wedding on my own, and produce images that the happy couple would be pleased with. I had the chance to use my own creative direction without the input of somebody else for all of the images and as the day went on the more confident I got to try new approaches.

Awards Ceremony
Having shot the BIBAS I was asked to shoot the BIBAS Cocktail Party And Award Collection, The brief was to provide another 2 photographers (3 including myself) and lighting for 3 shooting areas and photgraph the repellent dignitary's as they collect their certificates, approximately 175 people in a one and a half hour period. We also had to shoot the cocktail party, people mingling and chatting, candid shots. After checking the venue for size, lighting etc..
I organised two other photographers and three twin sets of lighting.
On the day I arrived two hours early to set up the lighting and organize the team ready for the event.
It was a small venue and we had just enough room for the three sets without to much light spill.
All went well and the clients were thrilled as to how organised we were and how quickly we managed to get the main shoot done, it was very much a production line with 3 sets.
The team were fantastic and conducted themselves very professionally and I couldn't have asked for any more from Shaun Richardson and Craig Taylor.
When the shoot was finished I collected the images together for edit.
The client needed the images for the following morning so they had to be edited and uploaded that night.

Comisioned again by BID Preston to cover Pretfest, a weekend event based around the Halloween theme. A very busy schedule following the entertainment from venue to venue and photographing the entertainment etc..

This was my first Indian wedding, with very little time to prepair (Two days!!).
After researching Indian wedding photographers I relised how colorful and romantic they are.
I didn't get chance to meet the bride or grom until the day of the wedding (Not how I like to prepare to be honest) The whole day was left to my interpretation and had to direct accordingly. I also took a second shoter to cover candid shots and a little video.
